Blush and Burgundy Wedding – Britney & Jacob Bishop

Britney and Jake had the sweetest Greensboro NC Wedding ceremony and celebration last Saturday on Jake’s Aunt’s property. The leaves had just started to show off their beautiful Fall colors here in NC, and you could really see those pops of orange and yellow behind the quaint little pond that served as a backdrop for their ceremony. I love it when my Fall brides choose colors that aren’t just the typical oranges and yellows, and Britney and Jake’s color palette was to die for! The Navy and Burgundy with hints of Blush and Eucalyptus was exactly what my camera was craving this season. I also loved how faith focused these two were. The day started with a bridal party group prayer (don’t worry Britney was hiding in the doorway so no one saw her), and the mention of their trust in God didn’t end at their knot of three strands ceremony, but was prevalent in the toasts and speeches made by friends and family as well.

They were not only gorgeous (I mean they are basically models), but also just the sweetest couple ever, and Casey and I were so grateful to be able to spend their special day with them. We wish you both years of happiness and laughter.

This was our very last wedding of 2017 (and I’d say we definitely went out with a bang), which makes me sad, but also super excited for the weddings I already have booked for next year! I’m still booking a few more for 2018 so if you know any recently engaged couples who are searching for a photographer, please go ahead and send them our way! Also Casey and I have finally decided on a date for our own wedding …and it’s going to be June 9th of next year! YAY! Which means 2018 is definitely going to be a busy and amazing year for Alayna Kaye Photography! 🙂
