It was a sunny and 75 degree Sunday in October when Katie and Kevin were married at Adaumont Farm. This day had been long awaited by everyone attending since they had postponed their wedding a whole year due to the pandemic. But man, it was definitely well worth the wait.

The day began with the guys and girls getting ready separately. The girls did a sweet first look with the bride and the guys shared a toast as they helped each other with pocket squares and bowties. Katie decided to do a first look with her dad and step-dad at the same time, and they were able to get most of the tears out of the way before walking her down the aisle. Kevin’s mom helped him with his boutonnière and bowtie. Shortly after that, Katie and Kevin shared a first touch around the corner of the venue and they read the love letters they had written to each other while holding hands, to help ease their nerves.

Before they knew it, it was time to walk down the aisle down to the arbor by the pond. I loved that Katie was escorted by both of the father figures in her life and how personalized the ceremony was. After they exchanged rings and shared their first kiss as newlyweds, they celebrated with huge smiles, hands in the air, and lots of applause and cheering from their friends and families.

We took some romantic portraits by the pond and in the trees on top of the hill, and then it was time to start the party. They shared their first married dance and then came the parent dances – that had lots of people in the room in tears (including me behind the camera!). Dinner, dancing, cake and heartwarming toasts made for a fabulous celebration. We even got the chance to sneak away from dinner for a few glowy sunset portraits with the horses. We finished the evening with an unforgettable sparkler exit, which was the perfect way to tie a big sparkly bow around such an amazing day.

Congrats again Katie & Kevin! We had such a blast and wish you both years of belly laughs and dip kisses.
