Baby Gregory decided to bless his sweet parents with 10 “extra” days when he came a little earlier than they expected on August 12th, 2023. I may sounds like a broken record at this point, but it really never gets old to photograph Jessie and Greg, and I have so enjoyed watching their love (and now their family!) grow over the last 6+ years!

In-home newborn sessions that really capture the beauty of the first few weeks of baby’s life in the setting where it’s all happening make my heart sing. The natural early morning window light, the family pets lurking in doorways, and the beautiful nursery decor, all make up the story of this precious newborn season and I love capturing each part of this for people.

Baby Gregory’s nursery was the most calming shade of gray with pops of color in the many books and a few statement paintings. Decked out in Disney and moon and stars, it was such a fun, yet elevated use of childhood favorites like Mickey and Minnie, incorporating the neutral shades that Mom and Dad love.

Their sweet pup, Mocha, absolutely adores her new little brother and didn’t stray far from him for the whole session. I could tell these two are going to be lifelong best friends and I can’t wait to watch this bond grow as baby Gregory does.

Jessie and Greg are already such fabulous parents to baby Gregory and I am honored that I get to watch them (and photograph them) as they continue to grow and settle into this role during the first year of Gregory’s life. I’m already counting down the days until his 6 month session, which I’m sure will come in the blink of an eye. Congratulations again you guys on such a beautiful baby boy!
