After lots of ups and downs in their wedding planning process, Jessica and Will finally got to celebrate their marriage and renew their vows in front of their families and friends at the Bermuda Run Country Club in Bermuda Run, NC. These two actually ended up getting married privately last Spring, since the pandemic was making planning a wedding way more difficult and complex than ever. But being able to finally get together and celebrate with a big party and lots of love made everything finally feel official.

Their bright and vibrant color palette was perfect for the warm Summer day and totally fit the bride’s bubbly personality. Will’s blue suit jacket was the perfect pop of color as well. Everyone got ready at the bride’s mother’s home which is right down the road from the country club. A super sweet moment was when the bride’s mom gifted her with her Great Grandmothers’ wedding rings in a tiny gold carriage that Jessica had admired for many years, as well as a stunning “something blue” ring that had been passed down.

Once the bride was dressed and ready she shared a first look with her father in the backyard followed by a first look and a few portraits with her groom. It was special for the bride to do photos in the backyard because this is where she took all her prom and celebratory photos growing up. So it was a sweet full circle moment. After a few photos we headed to the country club to get ready for the ceremony.

The vow renewal ceremony was heartfelt and I loved the unique touch of the bride and groom walking down the aisle together after her father passed her off with a kiss once they were down the stairs. They also presented all the mothers in their lives with a small bouquet of flowers during the ceremony which was another nice and unique moment. After they shared a kiss we took a few more portraits and it was time to eat and enjoy the evening.

The rest of the night was filled with toasts from parents, a messy but sweet cake cutting, an ice cream bar, and lots of mingling and dancing to the fabulous band. They ran through the sparklers and then rode off into the night on their decorated club cart, which was the perfect way to finish such a fun celebration. Congrats again you two! It was well worth the wait and anticipation. We wish you a lifetime of happiness!
