Marissa and Antwon were married in front of their immediate families at Carrigan Farms a few weeks ago and we were so excited to be there to capture it for them! Marissa and Antwon were the very first couple to take us up on our “all-inclusive” elopement/micro-wedding collection. This meant that not only did we photograph their wedding, but we also designed their bouquet and boutonnière, we supplied their delicious cupcakes and we connected them with an awesome officiant for their ceremony, and with the very best videography team!
Marissa and Antwon started out the day in a hotel close to Carrigan farms. Marissa’s twin sister helped her get ready bright and early, and then it was time to head to the venue for their sunrise ceremony. They got married in front of a gorgeous waterfall on the sandy shore of the rock quarry at Carrigan farms. Even though it was the middle of August, since it was early in the morning the air was still cool and crisp, which was super nice.
The two poured two types of sand together during their ceremony for a sweet touch and then walked down the aisle as husband and wife with their families cheering them on. We took a few family portraits and then they all grabbed their bubbles and made a tunnel for the newlyweds to run through.
Their families all headed to a restaurant to have a private brunch, and we stayed behind for a few more minutes of portraits and alone-time with Marissa and Antwon. We loved being such a big part of their intimate wedding day, and we are so happy for this sweet couple! Here’s a few of our favorite photos from their day. Enjoy!
