Spanish Moss & A Blush Dress

Our Charleston Engagement Session

A few weeks ago we made the road trip down to Charleston, South Carolina for a weekend getaway and to take our engagement photos! Even before we got engaged last October, I’d been dreaming of getting our photos made with the Spanish moss and live oak trees that line the historic streets of Charleston. When the photographer we chose for our wedding said she would already be in South Carolina in December, we knew we had to drive down and meet her there for a Charleston Engagement session! We are so glad we were told about this awesome public park that had some of the biggest, most beautiful trees we had ever seen!

For anyone visiting Charleston, make sure you take an hour to wander around Hampton Park! (We also hung out at the SC Aquarium for a few hours before our photos and it was great too!!) For the second portion of our session we drove down to the water, right near the infamous Rainbow Row. We found the cutest little pier that overlooked the Charleston bridge, that had the perfect view of the sunset. I’m so in love with our Charleston Engagement photos and I cannot wait to have Sophie Kaye fly down from NYC to photograph our wedding next June!! Here’s a few of my favorites!!
