Following almost a year of being postponed, Kim and Jay were finally able to celebrate their marriage with some of their closest friends and family at the gorgeous Childress Vineyards Wedding Venue. It was a hot and steamy Saturday in August, and nothing could stop these two from celebrating in style.

They got ready together which was a super sweet and relaxed change of pace compared to most of the weddings we photograph. Once they were ready we took a few portraits outside the venue and then the bride and groom relaxed inside until it was time for the ceremony. They said their vows in the courtyard with the lush grape vines as their backdrop. Following their short and sweet ceremony everyone made their way into the pavilion area for a champagne toast. Then the guests were free to graze on the biggest and best charcuterie spread I’ve ever seen that took up a massive table.

The bride and groom mingled with their guests and then just before the sun started to set we took the outside for a few more portraits in front of the vines and on one of the many stunning vintage furniture setups. Their reception area was filled with more gorgeous antique couches and chairs than I’ve ever seen in once place and it set such a relaxed yet super chic mood. Following the sunset portraits everyone enjoyed dinner, delicious Childress wine and lots of dancing and desserts.

Every little detail was absolutely stunning and we loved being part of Kim and Jay’s wedding day alongside so many amazing vendors. Congrats again you two! Here’s a few of our favorite photos from the day.
