Greensboro Arboretum Engagement Session – Anna & Jerry

Even though there was a high chance of thunderstorms, we ended up with the most beautiful sunshiney weather for Anna & Jerry’s Greensboro Arboretum Engagement session. Jerry and I actually met in my UNCG years (Go Spartans!), through a mutual friend, and we stayed connected via social media ever since. So I was super excited when he reached out to me about capturing their engagement portraits, shortly after he proposed to his gorgeous girlfriend, Anna, on a trip they took to San Francisco.

They decided to begin their session at the place where it all started, Cheesecakes by Alex. This is where they had their first date, and I LOVE that they wanted a few photos here, at the same table they sat at for that sweet date. Then we headed over to the Greensboro Arboretum and Botanical Gardens for the rest of the evening. I had wandered around the arboretum a few times while I lived in Greensboro, but that has been quite a few years and I totally forgot how gorgeous it is! So many colorful flowers were in full bloom and it was such a romantic spot for these photos.

Casey and I really loved hanging out with Anna and Jerry, and are so incredibly happy for the two of them. They plan to be married next Spring in Asheboro, NC and we wish them the very best and know they will have such a lovely life together.
