We recently had the joy of photographing Laura and Jamie’s June wedding at Hayfield at Murchison Farms. It was a gorgeously warm and sunny day that was filled with tons of friends and family who clearly adore this sweet couple. Just by spending a few minutes with Laura and Jamie you can tell that they are genuinely good people who are absolutely head over heels in love – which made our job pretty easy. 😉

The day began with the girls getting ready at the bridal cottage and the guys up in the loft of the barn. With no first look, we got the guys and girls’ photos done separately and then we headed over to the ceremony site for Laura and Jamie to tie the knot. Jamie’s reaction of Laura walking down the aisle was so precious, and his dad (and best man) who quickly handed him a tissue and started to tear up himself was also a super sweet moment. Their commitment to God and their faith was evident throughout their ceremony as well as their reception, and was something that made their celebration so personal and special for them.

After they shared a kiss, we had some time for portraits and a few minutes for the newlyweds to really soak in the excitement and emotions of the day. The reception began with dinner, tearful toasts, and their first dances. Once the dance floor was open we headed outside as the sun was setting for a few more portraits before they danced the night away with all of their friends. They finished the night by running through sparklers and jumping into their streamer covered Ferrari getaway car as they waved goodbye to their family and friends.

Congrats again Mr. and Mrs. McFadyen!
