Haywood Hall Raleigh Wedding – Alyssa & Shane

Magnolia blooms, blush dresses and a historic home were some of the details that made Alyssa and Shane’s Haywood Hall wedding so undeniably beautiful. These two tied the knot in downtown Raleigh, the city where they attended college together and fell in love.

I am so glad that my sweet and bubbly friend found a man as amazing and adventurous as she is! Not only is Shane outgoing and hilarious, he is also super nurturing and I’m sure that after spending just a few minutes with them, you would see just how much he loves Alyssa. They are the perfect match for each other and this wedding was the most perfect way to celebrate their love!

One of the best things about their wedding, in my opinion, was their first look. I know they were both super excited about this intimate moment, and Shane’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time almost brought me to tears! It was the cutest reaction ever! They were both just SO excited and happy that they were about to explode… and the photos I got will definitely make your heart explode too! They had the biggest smiles and couldn’t contain their joy.

Their ceremony was held in front of the historic Haywood Hall Home, with their 100 guests seated under the massive magnolia trees. One of their friends officiated the wedding and they recited their own personal vows to each other which brought many of the guests to tears. The open-air reception took place in the garden area and the patio transformed into a super lively dance floor. Their friends and family danced (and some even sang) the night away with the newlyweds until it was time for their sparkler send off.

It was such a beautiful day and Casey and I were so honored to spend it by their side. We are extremely jealous that they are currently honeymooning in Sri Lanka and the Maldives for two weeks, but we are incredibly happy for them!
