Old bricks covered in moss, flowy blush Vera Wang bridesmaids dresses, lots of lush green ferns, and a historic Inn located in downtown Winston-Salem as the backdrop… that’s how Kaitlyn and Alex’s wedding day looked to me, and I was absolutely in love. Oh, and not to mention just how in looove this beautiful couple really is. It’s honestly contagious. Kaitlyn had her eye on Alex after going to a few college baseball games and seeing him play. Her sister and maid of honor, Anna, was convinced to make this love story happen after hearing Kaitlyn swoon at the ball games, so she got a mutual friend to introduce the two, and the rest is history.
All the gorgeous details of this Brookstown Inn wedding day complimented the outdoor courtyard ceremony and ballroom reception that turned into such a fun dance party. Kaitlyn was overwhelmed by emotion as she saw her groom standing at the end of the aisle and her Dad also turned on the water works during their daddy-daughter dance. Heartfelt and hilarious toasts were made by family and we even got to sneak outside for a few gorgeous sunset portraits with a fun street light. After breaking it down some more on the dance floor, they had a sparkler exit for their friends and family to see them off, as they headed to their Jamaican honeymoon.
Congrats Kaitlyn and Alex and thank you so much for letting Casey and I be a part of your wedding day!
