Kernersville, NC Wedding – Dewberry Farms – Marcia & David

If I could describe Marcia and David’s Kernersville Wedding at Dewberry Farms in one word, it would be : fun. From my first conversation with Marcia I could tell this was going to be a super fun wedding day, from her flowery wedding gown, to her bedazzled cowboy boots and funky feathered headband, Marcia’s bridal attire was so unique, and so her and that’s what made me love everything about it. These two are unapologetically themselves, and so why should their wedding day be any different? It fit their personalities to a T and that made it so special and enjoyable to photograph.
The day was held at the always beautiful, Dewberry Farms, and it was the perfect venue for their intimate wedding day. David and Marcia got ready separately and then shared a first look on the covered wrap around porch of the farmhouse. After a few portraits it was time for the couple to tie the knot so we headed over to the side garden where David’s friends were playing Celtic tunes as the sun was setting.
Following their ceremony their guests were treated to some delicious southern BBQ, good music and a hayride through the farm. Following their first dance, David even got up and sang a few songs for his new bride and it was such a sweet part of the day. Their wedding cake was Marica’s favorite – a delicious pound cake that was adorned with purple flowers. Once they cut the cake their guests enjoyed a few more hours of music and mingling to wrap up a perfect day.
Congrats again David and Marcia! We loved being a part of your wedding celebration!
