If getting married under tall NC oak trees, in front of a beautiful pond and dancing the night away in a rustic barn with string lights sounds like a dream, then you are going to love Erin and Austin’s Summer wedding at L’abri at Linwood.

Erin and Austin’s wedding day came with gorgeous sunshine and such a relaxed and laid back atmosphere for their closest friends and family to celebrate their marriage and enjoy themselves. They both got ready in the main house and Erin shared a tear-filled first look with her sweet Dad. Erin then ventured outside and had a first look with Austin under a huge Oak Tree, which also brought lots of happy tears and laughs.

Once we took a few portraits, it was time for their outdoor ceremony in front of the pond with the beautiful fountain feature as their backdrop and more gorgeous Oak trees providing some shade for the guests. They exchanged vows and they performed a unity ceremony using sands from two beaches that they had visited together and that meant something special to each of them.

After they were announced husband and wife, we took a few more portraits by the pond and headed to the barn where they shared their first dance and a delicious dinner awaited. After toasts were made and the cake was cut we were able to sneak away from the reception to watch the sunset and capture a few more precious portraits as they soaked in the beauty of their day.

Lots of dancing and fun with friends and family was wrapped up with a final slow dance between the couple as the guests exited the venue and got ready for their sparkler exit. Their private final dance was such a sweet moment for them to take in the last moments of their wedding day and each other before they ran through the tunnel sparklers and waved goodbye to their loved ones.
