Lexington, NC Backyard Wedding – Tiffany & Jay

Tiffany and Jay were married earlier this month at their family’s stunning colonial style home in Lexington, NC. These two recently moved up to North Carolina and are excited to be married here where they are close to family. It was an intimate guest list that included their immediate families and a few close friends.
They were married in the wooded area behind the house in front of a beautifully decorated arbor. The bride did all of the decorations herself and they turned out super nice, with lots of touches of Fall. The sunflowers mixed with reds and navy blues were such a fun combination. The reception took place under a big white tent lined with romantic string lights. For dinner they decided on a unique approach, that we absolutely LOVED, which was a make-your-own Fajita bar from one of our favorite Lexington Restaurants, Don Juan’s.
After dinner we headed inside for the newlyweds to cut the awesome birch tree cake that was surrounded by sunflower and rose decorated cupcakes from Sinfully Delicious. Once cakey kisses were had, we made our way back outside for the bride to share a dance with her father, and the groom with his mom. A few more photos and then it was time for us to say our goodbyes and for the dance party to begin.
Tiffany and Jay were constantly making us laugh and we had such a fun time getting to know them and their families. We are so thankful they chose us to capture their backyard wedding and we wish them the very best in the many happy years to come. Here’s a few of our favorite photos, enjoy!
