Lexington, NC Wedding – Childress Vineyards – Rani & Fletcher

The wedding that felt like it was 30 years in the making finally happened! My mom, Rani, and her high school sweetheart, Fletcher, finally tied the knot this past Sunday afternoon at the beautiful Childress Vineyards. The two had dated all through high school, but then went their separate ways after graduating. They reunited 20 years later via Facebook and have been dating 7 years this time around… so I can gladly say, it was about time y’all! 🙂 They even had their high school prom photo on display at the reception, big 80’s hair and all. I was super excited to help her plan the wedding, as well as design the flowers and take as many photos as I could. The coral peonies were the real showstoppers as they popped perfectly with mine and Fletcher’s daughter, Kylie’s portabello colored dresses. The cake was delicious and made by my mom’s sister, Stephanie who also helped me decorate it with the fresh flowers. I was also super thankful to have Yasmin Leonard there as my second shooter because I was running around a little more than I thought I would be, so quite a few of these images are thanks to her. Congrats Mom and Fletcher! I’m so happy for both of you and can’t wait to spend many more happy years together as a family.
