Pilot Mountain NC Elopement

Juliette and Taylor said their vows on top of a foggy mountain peak just as the sun was rising. And yes, it was just as dreamy as it sounds. Although the fog was definitely a whole vibe in itself, we were a little nervous we wouldn’t be able to capture the mountain views they were hoping for, but of course mother nature delivered and just as they shared their first kiss as husband and wife the fog cleared and the sunshine showed up.

Have I mentioned lately how elopements are kind of my favorite thing ever. I especially love when it is so intimate that I end up having to sign the marriage certificate as a witness, which was the case for Juliette and Taylor. Once they made it official and signed the marriage license we wandered around the mountain and took our time to get some stunning photographs. We had time to really revel in the beauty of the sunrise over the mountains and take in the vast views from the top. No stress, no tight schedule and no guests to please.

They brought their Green Bay Packers blanket and matching hats for a few cute photos since their mutual love for the team is one of the many things that bonds them together. After we danced around the mountain, their last request was to get a few photos of them with Taylor’s vintage red Camaro that they had written “Just Married” on the back of, so of course we happily obliged. The photos with his car were seriously so fun to shoot!

We are so happy for these two newlyweds and we were honored to capture such a beautiful part of their love story. Here’s a couple of my favorite snaps. Enjoy 🙂
