Old Salem & Historic Brookstown Inn Wedding – Mary Grace & Seth

The Historic Brookstown Inn Wedding Photographer

Earlier this month Casey and I headed to downtown Winston Salem for Mary Grace and Seth’s Historic Brookstown Inn wedding celebration. The day began with the bridal party and family getting ready at The Brookstown Inn. Once everyone was zipped up and touched up, the bride had a super sweet first look with her father, followed by a tear-filled first look with her adoring groom.

The dusty blue bridesmaids dresses were perfectly complimented by white and blush flowers from Green Bee Floral Design. There were touches of Art-Deco details throughout the day that really felt unique to Mary Grace and Seth. We had some fun with the bridal party and then headed to the gorgeous the Old Salem area of Winston Salem, where the ceremony took place, at Home Moravian Church.

Following their church ceremony, the bride and groom received their guests with hugs and hellos. We headed outside to take portraits on the brick paver streets just before the storms came. As we captured their final bride and groom portraits it started to drizzle, and we got one super romantic photo of the newlyweds kissing in the rain.

We headed back to The Brookstown Inn for lots of dancing and delicious food. There was a live artist painting the first dance throughout the reception, which was a huge hit for all the guests to watch. At the end of the evening, Mary Grace and Seth ran through a Moravian candle exit and said goodbye to their friends and family as husband and wife.

Casey and I have been so honored to get to know this beautiful couple over the past year, and we wish them the very best that marriage has to offer. We hope you both had the time of your lives on your honeymoon in Greece!!

Congrats again Mr. and Mrs. McCormick!
