UNC Chapel Hill sweethearts, Emily and Lee tied the knot at the beautiful Colonnade at Revolution Mills in Greensboro, NC earlier this month and Casey and I were so honored to be included in their fabulous wedding weekend.

We helped kick off their weekend by capturing their Rehearsal Dinner at The Proximity Hotel with their closest friends and family. After cocktails and a delicious dinner the night wrapped up with lots of tear-filled toasts and heart-felt speeches. We don’t often get the opportunity to capture rehearsal dinners, but we had such a fabulous time and were so honored to be included in such a special evening.

Saturday morning started off in the very best way, with mimosas and relaxing with their closest friends. Emily got into her gorgeous A-line gown with the help of her sister and mom and then she headed out to the hallway for a sweet first look with her dad. Shortly after that we headed outside for another emotional first look with her groom, Lee. After many tears and tight hugs, these two were ready for some portraits before their ceremony.

The ceremony took place in the courtyard and the slight chill in the air perfectly complimented the white pumpkins in their decor. I think this change in the weather was welcomed by many of the guests who were ready for Fall after weeks of high temps.

We took a few more portraits following their ceremony and then it was time for the party to start. Since both Emily and Lee had been President of their sorority and fraternity during their time at UNC, you can imagine that the dance floor was filled with so much energy and fun songs and dances that brought them back to their college days. It was seriously such a fun celebration that finished up in the most perfect way, with the newlyweds running through a tunnel of Carolina blue and white pom-poms.

Emily and Lee, we are SO happy for you guys and so incredibly thankful to have been included in your wedding weekend. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you two! Congrats again Mr. and Mrs. Ramsey!!
