The first time we hung out with Chanler and Zac at Childress Vineyards we shared a bottle of red wine(obviously my kind of people!!) and chatted about their dreams for their upcoming wedding day. We became fast friends and Casey and I have been looking forward to seeing them again for their engagement photos ever since.
Zac attended Wake Forest University and his school spirit has slowly but surely rubbed off on Chanler, so we decided to do their engagement portraits on the gorgeous WFU campus.
Chanler’s coral outfits were the perfect picks for Summer and Zac couldn’t help but rock his Wake Forest polo for the first half of the session which was quite appropriate for the setting. We actually got caught in the sprinklers on the lawn in front of Wait Chapel, and although it might’ve scared the crap out of us(ok -mainly me), it turned out to make for one of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken.
These two are just so sweet together, and I don’t think Zac stopped smiling the entire session. They compliment each other perfectly and I know they are going to have such a fun and loving marriage.
We cannot wait to capture their intimate wedding celebration this Winter at the High Point Country Club. Enjoy!
