The past few years I’ve had the pleasure of photographing graduates at some of the local universities in the Triad, and Wake Forest University is definitely my most frequented. For Isabella’s session we began at the iconic WFU Wait Chapel. Portraits on the steps with the massive columns, as well as farther away with the chapel in the background are probably the most requested portrait spots for grad sessions at WFU, and you’ll see why below – (it’s stunning!) We roamed around the quad, and got a few photos of Reynolda Hall and Isabella did an outfit change for variety as well.
Then once we had about 20 minutes left we headed over to the Business School, where Isabella spent most of her time, and we met up with a few of her friends for some fun shots in their matching shirts. On the steps of the B-school they threw their caps in the air and celebrated with cheers and laughs. Then for the big finale we headed back over to Wait Chapel where they popped champagne and posed for a few more fun portraits.
Graduate portrait sessions really are SO fun to me and I can’t wait to get back out to WFU a few times to celebrate with the class of 2023 this Spring. 🙂
