WFU Reynolda Gardens Engagement – Maisie & Coleman

Even with the chilly temps and frost that the first weeks of December brought, somehow the Wake Forest University Reynolda Gardens are still such a gorgeous place for engagement photos! With a thriving green salad garden and a few pops of purple flowers and orange trees, the Reynolda Gardens were the perfect spot for Maisie and Coleman’s engagement portraits!

It’s also an especially meaningful spot for these two since this is where Coleman got down on one knee and popped the question to Maisie, just a few weeks ago! They both attend Wake Forest University and said they spend lots of time wandering the gardens, the village and the historic Reynolda House, and really who could blame them?! It is such a beautiful area and it’s basically right in their backyard!

They officially convinced me that it is time for me to make a trip back just to explore the inside of the Reynolda House. Although I’ve done tons of photo sessions here, I’ve never taken the time to go inside the house!

If you can’t tell from these photos, I truly believe it was fate that brought Maisie and Coleman together. Although they didn’t know each other growing up, their parents all went to WFU and were close friends – like they were in each others weddings! – How crazy!? And man, these two are SO in love and so sweet with each other, I could immediately tell they were absolutely meant to be together.
