Winmock at Kinderton Wedding – Brittani & Nate

This was our second wedding of the year at the fabulous Winmock at Kinderton, and this one was another stunner! This was also another wedding that one of my 2017 wedding couples happened to be in! The groom, Nate was actually a groomsmen in Kaitlyn & Alex’s Brookstown Inn wedding last September, and Kaitlyn and Alex were both in this bridal party as well! I love photographing a wedding with so many familiar faces, and this group really made Casey and I feel like part of the party. Making friends with my couples and the guests is one of my very favorite parts of this job!

The lush pink and green florals were a huge part of Brittani and Nate’s wedding decor, and I loved every bit of it! Brittani’s bright blue shoes, which obviously served as her “something blue” were another one of my favorite details of the day. Brittani’s big ballgown was such a statement dress and her bridesmaid’s wore the most gorgeous mauve color that complimented it perfectly. Nate and his groomsmen looked great in their blue suits and pink ties. The ceremony arch was the perfect background for their sweet ceremony. And I have to mention that Nate’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time was probably the best reaction I’ve seen to date.

Brittani and Nate definitely surround themselves with a fabulous group of friends who know how to have a good time. There were a few firsts for me during this fun-filled reception. This was the first time a group paused the reception to go outside and have everyone shotgun a beer together, and it was pretty hilarious to capture. It was also the first time I’ve ever seen someone get “iced” and the fact that Britt’s bridesmaids helped her do this to her new husband as he searched for her garter made it extra surprising and funny. (If you don’t know what getting iced means, you are not alone… the bridesmaids gladly explained the rules to me before the wedding – apparently if you find a smirnoff ice that has been hidden for you, you have to immediately drop to one knee and drink the whole thing.)

It really was a super fun and lively reception and it was so awesome to photograph.
