A few weeks ago we spent the late afternoon wandering around the Greensboro Bog Gardens with Jessie and Luke for their engagement portrait session and it was such a fun day. We even lost track of time because we were just having a blast and finding so many pretty photo spots in the Bog Gardens with some gorgeous evening sunshine peeking through the forest.
Bridges, waterfalls, fallen trees, and gorgeous dappled sunlight really do make for a gorgeous set of portraits, and when you have two people who are in love the way these two are, it makes for the perfect engagement session.
Jessie and Luke are both archaeologists and actually met on a project they were both working on in Greece – how cool!? Y’all know the Greek Isles have a special place in our hearts too since that is where we got engaged, so I really think we were fated to be their wedding photographers. 🙂 We recently photographed Jessie’s brother’s wedding and we fell in love with their sweet family so we were super excited when Jessie and Luke reached out to us about photographing their own wedding celebration this Winter.
Until then, I definitely think these gorgeous forest photos will tide us over. Enjoy!
