Haywood Hall Raleigh Wedding
Amanda and John’s Haywood Hall, Raleigh Wedding was such a classic and timeless celebration that was totally unique and personal to them. Their love of all things historic and vintage really shined through the details of the day, with their choice of venue, invitations and even through to their getaway car.
The two had to postpone their wedding due to the pandemic, but it was definitely a celebration well worth the wait. So many of their closest friends and family came together to celebrate such a fabulous couple and their love.
The day began with Amanda and her girls getting ready inside Haywood House, across the hall from John and his guys. Once everyone was dressed, we headed down to the gazebo in the gardens for the couple’s first look. After some sweet moments alone it was time for bridal party portraits in front of the house. We even ventured a few blocks down the road to the capitol building for a couple more portraits.
When we got back to the venue it was time for the ceremony to begin on the front lawn of the house. Their traditional wedding ceremony was sealed with a kiss and lots of excitement from their crowd of loved ones. After a few more portraits with family and the newlyweds it was time to enjoy the evening with dancing on the patio and dinner under the tent’s many bistro lights.
At the end of the evening the two exited through a tunnel of sparklers and hopped into the Father of the Bride’s 1931 Ford Model A car for a drive around the block. We were so honored to photograph such a gorgeous day and we wish this happy couple a lifetime of love and happiness!
