I met Brittany and John during my time at UNCG when we were all part of the wild and crazy UNCG Theatre Program. Although Brittany and John weren’t dating for most of the time that I knew them in college, they were both super fun, crazy talented people that I always enjoyed being around. The fact that years later they ended up together, and asked me to photograph their wedding day really felt like such a sweet twist of fate.
Brittany and John have been pursuing their dreams up in the Big Apple together since their time at UNCG, but they decided to have their wedding closer to their families, here in North Carolina at the always gorgeous L’abri at Linwood. Covid 19 definitely through a wrench in some of their big wedding plans, they were able to pivot and piece together such a meaningful and intimate celebration with their closest family and friends. While they do still have plans for a bigger reception sometime in the future, I think this “first round” was the perfect day of celebration.
We were super honored to spend the day capturing their joy and wish them both the very best that marriage and life has to offer. Congrats again you guys!
