The Historic Brookstown Inn Wedding – Myrical & Crosby

It was a warm and sunny Saturday in November, and there couldn’t have been a better day to celebrate the marriage of Myrical and Crosby. The leaves on the trees were bright oranges and yellows, which was the perfect backdrop for the couple’s wedding colors which were terracotta and emerald green.

The guys and girls got ready separately at the Inn, and then Myrical and Crosby decided to do a “first touch” and exchange gifts before the ceremony. Following their first touch it was time to get ready for the ceremony.

Crosby had a super fun and unique entrance as he danced down the aisle to one of his favorite songs and it got everyone excited. Crosby teared up shortly after, as Myrical walked down the aisle with her father. Following the vows and exchange of rings, they invited their daughter, Karrington, up to the altar to help them with a sand pouring ceremony. Once they shared their first kiss as husband and wife they were all smiles as they walked back down the aisle.

We took the next hour to shoot family portraits, bridal party portraits and a few of the newlyweds. Then we headed down to the reception space to capture all the gorgeous details before their guests headed inside.

They kicked off their reception with their first dances, and they even included an extra daddy-daughter dance between Crosby and Karrington which was precious. While their guests finished up dinner they cut the cake and shared a few sweet kisses. The dance floor opened up and as the party really got started we snuck outside for just a few more minutes of bride and groom portraits as the sun went down.

The rest of the evening was filled with lots of dancing, laughing and having fun with their friends and family. To conclude the night, they ran through a tunnel of sparklers and shared a final wedding day kiss as everyone waved goodbye. We were absolutely honored to capture such a gorgeous day for this sweet couple. Here are some of the highlights of their day. Enjoy!
