The Winmock at Kinderton Wedding – Morgan & Matt

Morgan and Matt tied the knot on what turned out to be a beautiful day in May, despite the weather forecasts calling for rain leading up to the day – yay for sunshine! The day began with the girls and guys getting ready in their separate quarters on site. Once in her dress, Morgan did a sweet first look with her bridesmaids and then another tear-filled moment with her father, he tried to hold it back but he definitely shed a few happy tears. She even decided that she wanted to do a first look with her groom, Matt, which we were happy to squeeze into the schedule, because as many of you know, this is always one of my favorite moments of a wedding day and makes for lots of beautiful photos.

And for all those brides worrying about whether or not to do a first look because they’re worried that their groom might not have as good of a reaction when you walk down the aisle – let Morgan and Matt be your perfect example. Matt was mostly calm and collected for their first look, but then totally lost it (in the best way) when she walked down the aisle.

I try to explain that even with doing a first look, the experience of you walking down the aisle is such a momentous and special occasion that if your groom was going to cry during it – which some don’t and that’s ok too – then they will still cry –even if you do a first look. The photos of Matt bursting into sobs when he sees Morgan walking towards him during the ceremony, and in-turn making her cry too, are some of my very favorite from the entire day by the way. 🙂

Following the ceremony we took some time for more portraits with family and friends and then it was time for the party to begin. The night was filled with lots of dancing, great food, a beautiful dessert table, and a seriously fun time was had by all. Morgan and Matt decided to share a last dance after all their guests had left the room and were getting ready for their exit, which was such a perfect way to end the night.

We are so happy for these newlyweds and we were honored to spend the day capturing so much beauty and love for them. Congrats again M & M! 🙂
