I personally feel that maternity sessions and flowers should always go hand in hand, so I was super excited to photograph Emily’s Winston Salem maternity session in the medicinal herb garden of Historic Bethabara Park.
With her third baby boy on the way, Emily knew she wanted to incorporate both her sons and her partner, Jamie, into her maternity photos. It was such a fun evening wandering around the gardens with the whole family. The boys loved exploring the gardens and running around when it was mom’s turn for solo portraits.
From the wooden gazebo, to the lush muscadine grapevines, purple bee balm, and hops vines, there was so much variety in a fairly small area. Emily’s flower crown and lace and tulle robes were the perfect accessories that really gave her photos a wow factor.
I’m so in love with how these images turned out. They have such a romantic and whimsical vibe, that a few of them make me think we were in some sort of magical fairy garden… and I’m very much about it! 😀
We wish Emily, Jamie and their family the very best and we are so excited for the arrival of sweet Koleman! Congrats again to the Watkins family!
